About The Perennial

Most of us carry a quiet question somewhere underneath the busy parts of life.

Am I living this well?

The Perennial exists for that question.

There is no shortage of writing about how to live longer. The sleep, the food, the movement, the protocols. Most of it is noise. Almost none of it speaks to the part of you that quietly asks what those extra years are actually for.

The science can tell you how to add years. It struggles to tell you what those years are for.

The Perennial sits where those two conversations meet. Cutting edge longevity science and conscious living woven together. One honest essay a week. Not written by someone who has arrived somewhere. Written by someone genuinely on the path, asking the same questions you might be asking.

After spending most of my working life in construction and a long but imperfect meditation practice, I have come to realise there is so much more to this life than what it seems.

Forty years of physical work has taught me things about the body no laboratory can. Forty years of practice has taught me things about the mind no book can. The two have been quietly informing each other the whole time.

The Perennial is part of that search.

My hope is simple. That something you read here finds you at the right time.

I am glad you found your way here.
